I was raised in a church family,I believe god'S seed was planted at a young age.Not saying that I have followed God all my life.I drifted from God and tried to live my life my way. It was only when my life had turned unmanagable and i had no where to go but to God. He never turned his back on me I turned my back on God. He loves us so much and forgives us sinners. Today,I am so blessed that I have God in my life and know that without him I would be so lost,I thank God from coming from a tree that has beared good seeds and pray I can keep the seed growing for him. God Bless you all.

My testimony: I really don't feel like I chose to be a Christian as much as I feel like God chose me. I started going to church when I was 4 or 5 years old. I went with my neighbors. My family did not attend church. We did not pray in our home as a family or really ever talk about it much. I continued my search and education of the Bible into my teens. I went off the path and messed up often. I am a sinner. God has always been there for me. He is always there waiting for us to get back on the right path and to come back to HIM. Jesus died for us. He died to save us, He rose again so that we may learn to follow God and one day live in eternity with Him. He gives us free will and we fail often. God will forgive us if we Believe in His Son,Jesus Christ and follow His word. We all have a choice. I am now an adult and a wife and mother. I don't know what I would do without God in my life. I struggle with the hardship of people in this world. I know that God is there and He is waiting for us. I look at everything that is hard as an opportunity to learn something Big from my heavenly father. Something Good can come out of something bad if we search it out and ask God for help.We may never understand but we must have Faith. Remember the reason for the Season. Happy Easter and God Bless.

As a young boy growing up , I attended the United Church of Canada . At age 19 , I met a young lady . She was a born again Christian . I did not know what that truly meant but I was about to find out . We started to date and one Sunday, she came to my church . After the service was over she stated" that was nice" and invited me to come to her church . I said "okay no big deal, a church is a church" . "Okay big deal" , her church was alive and there were hundreds of people worshiping Jesus, really worshiping Jesus !! . I could feel some type of spirit(Holy Spirit) in the church . People were worshiping Jesus and they were praying for forgiveness of their sins . I was overwhelmed by the love in this church and the pastor was an amazing man, kind of like the one that leads my church now . I kept going to this Church and developed new friends . One weekend the young adults from this church went camping . On the trip the Pastor's son Pat , felt lumps on one of his legs . Three days later , Pat's leg was removed because of cancer . We prayed and prayed for Pat , thousands laid hands on him but it was not God's will to heal Pat . Pat died at age 21 , one year after the camping trip . The whole time that Pat was dying , people were crying . Pat would comfort them and teach them about Christ . He would tell them not to be afraid of death because he was going to be with his savior to live an eternal life . Before passing on Pat planned his entire funeral , he had the song It is well with my soul song at his funeral . Every time I hear this song, I think of Pat and I say it is well with my soul . Pat taught people what it meant to accept Jesus as your savior and what it took to be a Christian . There have been people who have come into and out of my life who are non believers . They believe that being a Christian means you need a crutch . I could live my life without Christ but why would I want to . I worship a living Savior, who gives me such joy . My God forgives me for my sins when I fall short . My savior offers me a living truth that will give me eternal life . Living on earth is very hard there are great trials daily . Pat's life and death demonstrated the power of Gods love. I wanted to worship a savior who could give a person that kind of love and trust . God worked through Pat and Pat's love for his savior brought me to our lord . I would never choose to live my life and take on life trials without my savior . I gave my life to Christ and he is my savior . I did not have it in me to attend Pat's funeral as, his passing broke my heart . I write my testimony to honor Pat and to thank him for changing my life by telling me about an amazing savior Jesus Christ . It is well with my soul Pat , see you down the road my brother AMEN .
